Tiehl + Lucas :: Wooster, Ohio Wedding

What can I say…this wedding truly hit home for me.

Not only because it involved a dear friend marrying his soul mate in my hometown, but because it is apparent that these two are perfect for one another.

I could not have felt more honored to photograph Lucas and Tiehl on their wedding day.

Portraits of a Bride :: Abby

This time last year, Abby was wearing her wedding dress, on her wedding day. I knew there would be a time I was going to photograph her in it since she is about to become my sis-in-law, and I knew I wanted to do a bridal session at the sand dunes. So we made it happen. In addition to Abby’s gorgeous dress, we had a make-shift dress for our hike up the sand dunes ( I’ll let you guess which was which ) and we also had a few pieces by Denver’s renowned bridal hairpiece and veil designer, Sara Gabriel.

I guess you could say this trip was quite the whirlwind. But I think it was worth it. Abby, thank you for hiking around in a sheet and also toting your gorgeous gown in the dunes. Married :: Sheri + Scott

In a sense their day felt like an intimate dinner on the lawn with all of their closest friends surrounding them. In another it felt like a dreamy afternoon spent with an amazing couple completely and utterly in love.

It was definitely one of those days, when you know everything is just going to happen the way it should.
